What is a Technology College?

· A Technology College is one of five types of 'specialist schools' designated by the Department for Education and Skills. There are specialist schools in Sports, Arts, Foreign Languages and in Business as well as in Technology.

· Our aim as a Technology College is to raise educational standards in technology, science and maths, and to promote a modern technological culture that embraces these areas. This is not only for our own pupils but also for pupils and staff in other local schools as well as for the community at large.

· We have been delighted that so many people and organisations have been keen to build active links with us.
