We encourage our parents/carers to contact us in the first instance if they would like any support or information regarding young peoples mental health and wellbeing. You can contact us via email on: safeguardingcg@universityofkentacademiestrust.org.uk. You can also contact the services below that will assist and help you find useful resources and information.

KOOTH 

An online mental wellbeing community. Access 365 days a year to counsellors who are available 12 noon – 10pm on Monday-Friday, and from 6pm –10pm at weekends. Access via mobile, laptop or tablet.

CHILDLINE

Chat online with a counsellor about whatever’s worrying you. Either send a message, call, or read and post to the message boards.

EMERGE PROJECT

Based at Medway Hospital. Youth Workers providing short term support for young people who find themselves struggling with self-harm or feeling suicidal. Available from 7pm-11pm Tuesday to Thursday.

Thinkuknow

Thinkuknow is the education programme from NCA-CEOP, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline.

CEOP

CEOP is a law enforcement agency that helps keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online. CEOP can give you advice, and you can make a report directly to them if something has happened online which has made you feel unsafe, scared or worried. This might be from someone you know in real life, or someone you have only ever met online. CEOP are unable to respond to reports about bullying, fake accounts or account hacking.
